Softening

The softening is the act of sanding primers, once the use of horsetail was the only alternative, the advent of modern abrasives is the only major change in the profession, whether in the water with abrasive or dry with sandpaper.

It goes without saying that the abrasive water is not recommended as part of the restoration to ensure the integrity of the old primers use.
